Architectural and Interior Design

Placement and sizing of bedrooms are also important decisions. Do you have a king or queen size bed? Where will it be placed within the room? Important questions should be asked during the design phase.

A designer and builder may ask you many questions. But each question seeks an answer that will impact the home design.

Preconstruction Management

Assembling, reviewing, and revising architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, interior design, and landscaping designs takes time.

We ensure each design discipline undergoes a thorough review. We often seek more design details in the Preconstruction phase to ensure the Construction phase runs smoother.

Municipal planners and reviewers often seek clarifications and details for permit submission documents. We communicate regularly with our consultants to ensure the municipal building departments are responded to in a timely manner.

Construction Management

Construction schedules and budgets can change once a project is underway. With Gold Lion Builders you are receiving weekly to bi-weekly updates on both the real-time schedule and budget.

At Gold Lion Builders, we design buildings and outfit interiors to suit a wide range of budgets.

Once in construction, Gold Lion is on site and present for every city inspection required. We also take regular photos and keep you up to date with weekly progress.

Additional Services

  • We handle the permit submission and submit all the necessary information required by municipal building departments.

  • Schedules and budget are the pillars of good construction management. Great communication is a must throughout the duration of the project.

    Regular photo updates and timely payments to trades and suppliers are often regular tasks.

  • Involve daily inspections and reports by Gold Lion personnel. Quality control and internal inspections are a daily occurrence throughout the build phase. Ensuring trades have a clear understanding of each area of the build is a must.

  • We stay in touch for a minimum of 5 years after your build is complete. In that time, we assist you with any maintenance your home may require.
